The Reinert-Ritz DVGW-certified hydrant connections made of PE100 with the special flange connection offer the full flow rate and maximum bending strength for safe hydrant installation. For example, SDR 11 has 50% more wall thickness and SDR 17 130% more wall thickness than other commercially available products made of PE100. This significantly increases the service life of the hydrant connection. A large base also offers very high stability. The flange version is equipped with a backing flange made of fiber-reinforced, corrosion-free plastic, which reduces weight and facilitates handling. Hydrant connections for BAIO® or spigot end are available as an alternative to the flange. Special shapes such as crosspieces or X‑crosspieces for the construction of slide gate crosses are also available. All variants are available with spigot end or with the friction-locked REINOGRIP plug-in coupling.
