Plug connec­tions with and without longi­tu­dinal frictional connection

As a drinking water utility, you often have to carry out repairs and tie-ins under difficult condi­tions: narrow excava­tions, time pressure, limited personnel – and welding is not always possible on site. When running water or adverse weather condi­tions are added to the situation, one thing matters above all: a connection that seals reliably and can be installed quickly. 

The REINOGRIP fitting range is suitable for SDR11 and SDR17 pressure pipes and supports appli­ca­tions with operating pressures of up to 16 bar (depending on the design and system config­u­ration). All fittings are made entirely of PE and are therefore corrosion-free. 

All fittings can also be adapted for transi­tions from PE pipe to PVC pipe. They are available as a double push-fit coupling, as a push-fit coupling on one of our fittings, or as a slide-over repair coupling for repairs. 

For appli­ca­tions without axial restraint – for example, in non-buried pipe systems – Reinert-Ritz offers detachable push-fit connec­tions with a push-fit and expansion coupling as well as a double push-fit coupling. Thanks to their EPDM lip seal, these connec­tions can withstand the full operating pressure and are also designed for negative pressure. They also enable transi­tions to dimen­sionally matching pipes made of other materials, such as PVC.
